A client wanted a power-loss detector that would fit neatly around an outlet faceplate. I built this prototype with a status indicator and a separate signal connection. I would need to revisit the circuit to confirm how it stored or reported a loss-of-power event; I no longer remember the exact relay or memory arrangement.

An internal view of the outlet power-loss detector shows how I packaged the circuit behind the faceplate-style enclosure. The goal was to combine a visible status indication with an output that could report the event to another device.
